Sometimes people grow up experiencing extreme abuse and or neglect…

Eventually, these persons grow up with an “emptiness in the pit of their stomachs” feeling unlovable, unworthy, and so wanting to be loved, that they become whoever their partner desires…

The thing with this is for these persons, there is no love within, only the love from without, their partners and sometimes children that make life seem worth living…

and so the feeling if ever there is even a mild conflict, is that life is no longer worth living…

and if ever a partner does anything to threaten the relationship, these persons seek the ultimate way for their partner to prove their love…

They declare “if you leave me I will kill myself” … the idea is for the partner to prove their love for them, by staying with them, be saving their life literally…

At times if the relationship really shows no chance, these persons adopt an approach of “I will kill me to hurt you!” …

#mentalhealthchallenges need more than a partner who is manipulated … often the issue is a lack of #selflove #selfworth and finding a reason for life beyond or in addition to their main #realtionship…

It’s #WorldSuicidePreventionDay!
